Ron Hitzel of Impact Auctions works the crowd for bids during the auction portion of the annual Beach Bash at Port City Club in Cornelius to benefit Big Day at the Lake 13, an annual event designed to raise awareness and money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte and to provide a fun day on Lake Norman or Mountain Island Lake for youngsters who would otherwise not have the opportunity. The event raised more than $10,000 toward this year’s Big Day at the Lake goal of $100,000.
